We’re finally here!
We have the official dates for the first marathon that unites makers and gardening enthusiasts!
Friday 20th and Saturday 21st March from 09:00 a.m. we will all meet in the coworking Hubinsula, for the AGRIthon2020, a full immersion dedicated to anyone who wants to try to find innovative solutions in the field of agritech through the use of open source technologies and devices.
Challenges may concern the following fields:
- Ecotourism and sustainability
- Infrastructure improvements
- Protection of agri-food products (diseases, pests)
- Production and environment (improving efficiency in water use, maximising soil productivity, etc.).
Who can participate in the marathon?
The AGRIthon is open to the following categories of participants:
- Makers (computer scientists, developers, technology enthusiasts);
- Gardening enthusiasts
Registration is free, for a total of 30 participants, and you can register as a single participant or as a team.
What do you win?
The first place winner will win a cash prize offered by the Fondazione di Sardegna.
The other prizes will be announced in our channels in the next few days! So follow us!
The winner will be announced on 27th March 2020, at the Padiglione Tavolara, on the occasion of the SIOS20 event, organized by StartupItalia, which this year will stop in Sardinia, and supported by the Fondazione di Sardegna within the INNOIS project, which also includes the hackathon in question.
How can I register?
Subscribing to the AGRIthon is very simple!

You will simply be asked to enter your first and last name and your email address.
Immediately after you will receive an e-mail of receipt of your application and you will be asked to fill in a simple google form with 4 questions. Your answers will allow us to better organize the event and … the lunch!
